Could It Be the Diaper?

I keep a little boy (4 months old) at my house during the week who is CONSTANTLY pooping and peeing out of his diapers. His poop is liquid every time but still....I never had this problem with my daughter. Most of my Mom friends use Huggies for their boys and Pampers for their girls. He is in Huggies. Could it be the diaper or am I just going to have to deal with this? Thanks for anyone with some wisdom.

P.S. He is breastfed....the only thing I can think of that would cause his poop to be so liquid.

What can I do next?

About the pee and you may already know this, but you have to point their little boy parts down or they pee out of the diaper.

I agree about pampers!! And, yes, it is more liquid because he is breastfed. Breast milk is easier for the baby to digest which lends to more frequent poop and liquidity.

I agree with the other Mothers, regarding his poop being so wet. My son had the same problem, it would ride up his back most of the times. I used the pampers Swandlers and the Cruisers for him and it eventually got better.

I used Huggies one time with my twin boys and that was the last time - they leaked terribly! Never had a problem with Pampers. I didn't like the baby dry, but the swaddlers and cruisers were the best, although I do think they were a little more expensive??

Not sure why it's so soft, but I had the same issues?!??!

This was happening to my little boy too. I now use a size larger in the Pampers swaddlers and I haven't had a problem since. The diapers look way too big, but they hold more. I just make sure they are secured good around his legs and point his thingie down when I close the diaper up.

Hope this helps!

That happened wiht both my boys when I put them in Huggies. I use Pampers swaddlers and cruisers and htey work great. Also, they would leak when the diaper was too small. Most everyone I know uses Pampers Cruisers for boys and girls. I recommend trying them and see if it better.

Pampers nor Huggies worked for my son. The ones that worked best for him were the White Cloud brand from Walmart, which was great since they're cheaper too. My SIL had the same issue with her son and she liked the White Cloud brand too.

Pampers worked for us......mine did the same thing (breastfed too) and this is the only diaper we could use until they got older.
