The best we have found is First Chinese BBQ (Coit and Parker) near the Post Office. They serve more authentic Cantonese style food and everything seems fresh. They have fresh roasted duck and pork. Unless you are willing to drive to Richardson, this place is great.

We like the May Dragon restaurant on Beltline Road in Addison, 2 blocks west of the Tollway. It is a true wait-to-be-seated restaurant, not like the Chinese "fast food take out" places like Chef Chu, Dragon Wok and Rice Boxx (which are good, too, just a different kind of dining). There is another place too called the New New Buffet, in the shopping center near Beltline and Marsh. It has been there for over 7 years and always has a good crowd. We haven't been yet because my petite wife isn't a "buffet" kind of eater, but they must be doing something right!

Hi C.,
We moved from Chicago and it was hard finding good Chinese Restaurants although we prefer Thai to Chinese but the best Chinese in Dallas is Royal Wok and the best one is in Las Calinas / Irving next to Masala Wok.. the one in Plano wasn't that good but maybe it has changed now. Of cource Pei Wei and PF Chang are good too but a little pricey....Good Luck

Mr. Wok in East Plano is one of our favorites. They are a little hole in the wall, but their food is great. I'm not a Crab Rangoon fan, but the Edamame is awesome and every entre I have had there has been fantastic. It is located on 14th street east of Jupiter. Here is their website for map and menu: http://www.mr-wok.com/

i'm very excited about this topic since I'm Chinese. I read the post. They are all good. Try Umeko off Legacy and 75 (southwest corner). That's my favorite. I'm not sure they have Crab Rangoon or not.

My absolute favorite Chinese restuarant is Yao Fuzi. It's located on Park, in between Preston & Ohio, on the north side behind Blue Mesa. I don't know if Crab Rangoon is on the menu; but, ALL their food is delicious!! Ask for Chris and tell R. sent you!

Enjoy!
