I've been telling my friend she is not pregnant, but she thinks she is. Her boyfriend came when she was on top of him, but he wasnt inside her. I told her since he wasnt inside her, she can't be pregnant. She said years ago she had a friend who said she got pregnant that way. I am right?
I want to thank all the moms for the nice comments and can't believe some mom's can actually say the comments i received. Almost half of the babies being born were not planned, so a 16 gets pregnant she was supposed to plan that. I was hurt by the comments, but when my friend got her results i knew i was right. For all you mom's my friend took a preg test and SHE IS NOT PREGNANT!!!!!!!!!!! Almsot of all you assumed he was inside of her before he came and he was never inside of her. My friends and I know about safe sex btw.

Yes. The little guys have been known to swim through clothing, and water, and defeating protection is not uncommon, either.
There's a chance either way, but I'd say she knows herself better than anyone.

Simple solution, take a test!
Possbile. Not too likely without intercourse, but remotely possible. Either way, if your friend suspects that she is pregnant and her period is late, she ought to do a pregnancy test and that should give her an answer. If a pregnancy test is positive, it's positive. If it's negative, it is possible that she is still pregnant and needs to retest after a few days or have the doctor run a blood test.
Definately possible- I know of times it's happened. I'd get a pregnacy test for her the next time you get groceries so everyone can know for sure.
Buy her a pregnancy test, make her do it and then you can prove it to her. I've never heard of this situation before. Anythings possible!!! Good luck.

I find it a bit shocking that a grown woman, a mother with two children, is unsure of how NOT to get pregnant.
If they were having intercourse at any point, and he was not wearing a condom, and she was not taking birth control, then yes...she could certainly be pregnant. Please educate yourself and your friend to avoid unwanted pregnancies.
There's a very tiny chance, but it's really doubtful. She would have also had to be ovulating around that time.
Yes she can - For the love of God, and the sake of a possible baby, march your friend into a store and purchase a pregnancy test! If cost is a factor, go to the 99cent store, yes, they have them and they work.

Has this friend discussed this matter with her boyfriend? As sexually responsible adults, the first person to discuss a possible pregnancy with is the other person in the equation, not your girlfriend. And what about STD's. Yes, unprotected sex is fun, but very dangerous. Perhaps this couple is too immature to be involved sexually.
I too find it odd, but not unbeleiveable that a woman with 2 children would ask this question, at least she asked.
Goes to show, education is important, especially sexual eduction. There was a time when a woman's sexuality and fertility were decided by and was at the mercy of her husband. Women, had no say in the matter - none - not even deciding how many children they had. Its not like that today, we can make our own decisions about our bodies. Take care of yourself and your friend, get her to a doctor or a local Planned Parenthood, they have plenty of information.

Well..they were wrong. She was one of the best "opps" I ever had. And you know what??? Who are you to judge anyones "opps". Its none of your business!! I cant imagine my life w/o her. you are incorrect. If she was at her most fertile time her body would make it possible for the semen to travel into the vaginal canal and up to the egg. Get a test.
The only time I heard of this happening was on the show Scrubs...that's how JD got his girlfriend pregnant. HA.

If your friend doesn't know that much about birth control and her body? then she is not old enough to have SAFE sex. Sounds like she needs to do some research. Our Bodies Our Selves is a great book!

Yes, it's possible but not that likely. But if she thinks she is pregnant it is worth the cost of a home test to check. If you are in tune with your body sometimes you know before the test gives you a positive.
It is possible, if they weren't careful. All she can do is wait and see.
