Bathroom Re-Model in Dallas, Tx

I live in a 33 year old house and the bathroom has never been updated. I'm ready and I want it to be nice, but don't need a pricey top of the line. I have no idea what the financial undertakings of this would be. I got one quote and it was so ridiculous I just can't believe it could be accurate. It was about 25% the cost of buying a new house! This is a master bathroom. I'd like some ideas on cost and names of trusted contractors.
Thanks in Advance!

Try Joe & Angela at All in One Construction. We used them to re-model our three bathrooms and kitchen, plus strip the entryway's wallpaper and paint it. My childhood best friend's mom used them to do major, multiple renovations and she only had great things to say about them. I figured if she continued to call on them to make updates to her home then they must do good work. I found them to be on the reasonable side compared to other quotes I received. They did a very nice job within our budget. Good luck!

Of course the cost of remodeling is going to depend on what you want done, but I know that the cost of a "gut" remodel of a secondary bathroom with a vanitiy, toilet and tub/shower is going to be between $10,000 and $15,000. So, the master bath, at probably twice as big, should be larger than that. It's a good idea for any job to get three quotes from contractors. Sounds like you have sticker-shock.

Give my husband Robert on his cell at ###-###-####. He is unemployed, looking for full time work but anything would be better than nothing. He has done bathroom remodels before and is also a apprentice plumber.

We use Len Vinsko ###-###-####). He just finished redong BOTH of the bathrooms in my Grammys house and he is very affordable. He did a partial remodel on our front bathroom (we wanted to keep the 50's tile) and it looks wonderful. He has also redone my mom's master bath along with lots of other areas in her house. We trust him completely and referr him without hesitation. He also can show you pics of other bathrooms he has done.
Good luck with your remodel!
