Baby Dolls with Different Hair Color/texture?

I'm trying to a doll that looks like my daughter. When I was little, my Grandma got us each a My Child doll that had the same hair and the same eyes as each of us. They were such beautiful little dolls with sweet faces. I know they don't still make those but I would love to find something along those lines. Are there are companies (besides American Girl - WAY too expensive) that have more options like that?

My daughter has very curly short brown hair, hazel eyes, and olive skin. All the baby dolls I can find are either: 1) pale with blond hair and blue eyes, or 2) dark skinned with black hair and brown eyes. There's nothing in betwen! I don't want a barbie doll or rag doll. She will be three years old, and I want the chunky body "toddler" dolls which you can change their clothes. I know I'm being picky but I figure it has to be out there somewhere, I'm just not looking in the right places. Thanks in advance, ladies!

What can I do next?

Just so you feel better, the American Girl attempt at olive skin wasn't very good. We ended up buying her another because it is just too odd to be asked all the time why we bought her a black baby doll. :(

I bought my daughter a My Twinn doll. You pick eye color, skin color, hair color, hair texture, bangs or no bangs, even if the ears should be pierced. It's not cheap but they even put on a mole and cafe au lait spot that my daughter has! I liked that they had clothes to match my daughter as well. I always bought items on clearance or when they had a special. My son actually ripped off the doll's foot one time and we had the doll sent to the doll hospital(shipped back to the company and repaired). She came back with a hospital gown and bracelet and they cleaned her up. Fabulous company. http://www.mytwinn.com/
