I will be traveling to Chicago at the end of this month to join my husband for our 5-year anniversary. We'll be there Friday, Saturday, and 1/2 of Sunday. Can you suggest a great hotel with a view, a nice restaurant, or anything else we must experience while we are there? Thank you!!!!

What can I do next?

You have to go to dinner at Joe's Seafood Steakhouse and Stone Crab. It's amazing.

You can also go walk around the 96th floor of the John Hancock building. It's a great view and there's also a place you can have brunch there.

There are also a lot of neat museums there, so take your pick. :) Also, Harry Caray's Restaurant is kinda neat and I'm sure your hubby would enjoy it since it's all about baseball.

Good luck planning and have a wonderful time! Chicago is so much fun!

My mom, sis, and aunts did a girls trip last year to Chicago! We stayed at the Palmer House Hilton. It is beautiful! We went to an Oprah tapping at Harpo studio. I would also recommend Gino's pizza!! Have fun!

OMG!!! I am from Chicago and love the romantic venues that are there.
Dinning: Italian Village or Little Italy Village
Drinks: Bar in the Sears Tower so romantic at night!
Around town: Horse Carriage pick up at water tower on Michigan Ave.
If you must have pizza: skip Uno's - GO Giordanno's!!
Wanna get out of downtown: Get on the metra and go to Ravinia in Highland Park experience outdoor concert and you can bring/buy fruit, cheese, wine etc. They rent chairs and sell goodies there too! Imagine candles all around from people's little picnic set ups! OMG
Low budget: Walk to the Lake Michigan beach front and enjoy wine and straberries on a blanket. Navy Pier ferris wheel a must!
Night life: I would ask the doorman or the concierge because in a big city things are hot one day and are a dud the next!

Hope you have a blast!!!
