Hi there. So, after doing the research I am planning on doing an alternative vaccination schedule. I don't want any of these vaccines touching my baby until 2 years in.

I am wondering if anyone knows some books I might read to know how to boost my babies immune system naturally in the meantime?

I didn't start vaccinating my 1st born till he was 2. Booby juice (breast milk) is the best thing to boost the immune system. I waited till he was a year old to introduce solids under the guidance of his pediatrician. I also use homeopathic medicine. My son is 9 years old now and has never taken a prescription medication and NEVER been on antibiotics.

Keep him/her away from parties etc. during flu season.

Dr.Feder has a list of things you can do to prepare your little one homeopathically before you vaccinate to help curtail the damage.

Her website:

what to do before & after:

Just as a side note, my son has suffered some pretty horrible side effects from being vaccinated even though I did wait. If anything compromised his immune system, it was being vaccinated.

hi A.
i am not sure if you are nursing or not, but that is really my first suggestion to boosting your baby's immune system. i didn't vaccinate my son (now 4 yrs. old) until he was 2.5. he has only had 2 vaccines so far. i am only doing one more. my daughter is 21 months and i plan on doing the same. there is a book out called "evidence of harm". it is about the dangers of vaccines. for me personally, i am not against vaccines. i am against the toxins that are in them and the rushed schedule. good luck.

Hi A.-

Dr. Sears' book The Vaccine Book goes through each vaccine and includes a couple of different schedules for delayed or alternative schedules. It's a good place to start and you can also consult your pediatrician. Our doctor told us that after a certain age some of the vaccines aren't even needed.

Good luck!

I think the most fair and balanced book about vaccinating is The Vaccine Book. After reading it, we decided to go with Dr. Sears Alternative Schedule, but whatever you decide, the book helps you understand each risk and vaccine. http://everydayexperts.com/2010/11/18/alternative-vaccina...
