A Good Bra

Hey Ladies,
I need to take my mentally handicap sister to get a new bra. She is not very patient and doesn't like trying on a bunch of things, so I want to make this as less stressful as possible. I have taken her to Dillard before, they measured her and found her a really good bra, but she can't afford that this time around. I think she is a 38DD, so she needs a good bra with thick straps. Does anybody have a good suggestion of where I could get her a good one for around $20 that would also likely have her size?

What can I do next?

I've had good luck ordering my bra's from Walmart Online. You could get a tape measure and check her size at home. OR just send/take it back if it's the wrong size.

Bali bras are great and Kohls was having a fantastic sale on them last week, you could try there.
Good luck & what a great sister you are!

check at Lane Bryant. Explain your situation to a clerk and they can probably find you something that is discontinued, a solid bra at a lower price. I have done that a time or two for my mother!!

Good Luck,

Check out the L'eggs/Hanes catalog. They have a variety of Hanes and Bali bras on sale for a reasonable price. There are instructions on how to measure. If you are not sure, they have a great return policy, so you can order several, keep the ones that work, and return the rest. They also have a website at www.OneHanesPlace.com. There may also be an outlet near you. If you are in Utah or Salt Lake County, there is one at the Draper outlet mall just off of I-15.

Try "Lace by Lousie" - there is a location in Riverton and one in Bountiful. It is the first place that I have gone and found bras that actually work for me. If you find them on sale you can get them for under $20, but it is well worth the regular price of about $32-$36. And they will last longer if you hand wash (although I usually use a gentle cycle on the washing machine) and don't dry. Good luck!

I would suggest the buy several- take them home for her to try on maybe one or two a day- return the ones that don't work. I can't help on brands though, I'm one of those ladies lacking in that arena. good luck! :) *remember to keep your reciepts though*
