What Is the Best Stain Remover for Clothing?

Can you please recommend a good stain remover? My girls are constantly getting food, markers, dirt, you name it all over their clothing. I've tried the normal spray and wash type products and although some stains are removed, most are just faded. Just thought I would see if anyone had a miracle product they might recommend :) Thanks in advance.

I use oxiclean and so does my grandmother. She swears by it.

For grease type food stains, I use Carbona Stain Devils - the Oil/Fat/Grease remover. You know those stains on dark clothing that look like dark spots. You put a little of this on those spots and wash and it comes right out. I swear by it.

You can get them in single bottles at most grocery stores. I have found them at Krogers and Albertson's.

They have a whole line of stain removers. I've also used the sauce (ketchup, pasta sauce - the red sauces) and that works well too!

Let us know what you find!

When my children were infants I found a product called Totally Toddler that was great for those hard-to-remove spit-up & formula stains. I have been using it ever since which has been about 11 years. Totally Toddler removes all types of stains. I loaned it to a friend recently to remove washed in crayon stains and it worked so well I'm having a hard time getting it back! You can get it at Walmart, Babies-R-Us, Kmart, & Baby Depot inside Burling Coat Factory. You can also buy it online. Here's a link to where to buy online: http://www.totallytoddler.com/where.html

Amway SA8 Solutions - Prewash.
It takes out OLD baby stains and new ones. Ink from printers (commercial GOUP ink) to grass, blood, chocolate and lipstick! Even if it's been dryer baked!!!!
I have tried every other product on the market and it is the ONLY one that will remove 20 year old baby formula from a bib.
It IS petrolium based but will wash off with water.
It also removes GUM from chairs, hair, clothes...the works. I have used this since I was 22, I am now 47. Its expensive (go to ebay!) but well worth every penny!! I use the squeeze on kind cuz i get better control and can hit 'just the stain' instead of the whole shirt.

*** I am NOT associated with AMWAY but I sure do love this ONE product!!!***

There is this stuff called M30 that you can get at Dollar Tree or Dollar General. I LOVE it and use it for all of my laundry! Try it out and it's only $1 so no loss if you don't like it!!! :)

Liquid Tide or Era
White vinegar

in a spray bottle for ink, rust, stuff like that. Will take the rust off a bumper!

The best is definitely PreSpot and Solumel...not only does it work great - it's the best of science and nature - so it's safe!! It's gotten the following stains out for me: blood, medicine, dog urine, mud, hotwing sauce, vomit...out of clothes and carpet. I don't worry anymore about spills, etc. and I don't have to worry about fumes or poisons or harsh chemicals!

Good luck!!

Hands down the easiest, most effective thing I have found is OXY MAGIC. It's in the spray bottle. SPray and let the clothes sit for a while, then wash. It works on grass stains, chocolate, spaghetti sauce etc. For really stubborn stains on white clothing - spray them and wash in a hot/cold wash. I use Tide with Bleach even on colors and everything comes out really clean.

Hands down I recommend PreSpot & Solumel. Spray a little Prespot on the stain, throw it in the wash, & the stain is gone! If the stain is particularly bad, I spray a bit of Solumel on first. Works every time for me! :)

Zout!! You can get it at Walmart for $2 something a bottle and they have a money back guarantee which is what led me to try it. My 20 month old boy destroys everything he wears and I have had very few instances where it doesn't get it out on the first wash.

Zout and Oxi-Clean. Put the Zout on the spot with a little warm water and kindof scrub it around and then add the Oxi-Clean and scrub it some more. I've even made a suds in the sink and soaked it overnight. Add a scoop to your load of clothes and I promise the stain will be gone.
Zout is at the dollar store and I use the generic store brand of Oxi-Clean. If those 2 things can get stains out of my son's white baseball pants, I know it will work for you too.
Good Luck
