I was talking to a friend today about the Oscars that we are both laughing about John Travolta's hair. Is it true that he has a wig? Also why was he touching that woman's face? Sort of odd...

What can I do next?

I believe he does wear a hairpiece to disguise his receding hairline. He made his career on all that "Vinnie Barbarino" hair. But he's not the only male star who does this - it's been going on for decades.

"That woman" is Idina Menzel, the Broadway star whose name Travolta bungled last year when she sang the nominated theme song from "Frozen." There are plenty of photos today about his inappropriate and too-close touching, not only with Menzel, but also with Scarlett Johansson. He worked with SJ before but came up behind her unexpectedly and was a little too touchy-feely for my taste. I think a lot of men have issues with boundaries and what women find amusing or flattering. Maybe he was just so damn nervous and trying to make up for last year that he went way overboard - or he's trying to see himself as a sex symbol years after his appeal has faded for most.

I thought both women handled it with class given that they were on camera, but I think his agent needs to have a talk with him if he wants to continue to get good gigs as he gets older. He's getting way too much bad press about being creepy.

Yes, he sometimes wears a hairpiece.

He has always been strange. He is an actor that has a lot of money with a lot of handlers, he is a devout Sciebtologist, he does smoke cannibus, he is bisexual. I think you mix that all up and you end up with a person that is out of touch.. Excuse my pun.

Yep, the face touching was awkward--at best.

He grosses me out. I'd probably vomit if he touched me.

Yes, I bet he wears a wig and there is a lot more to him than we think we know. Ugh

Laughing ... I watched that part where he stroked her face. All I kept thinking was that poor woman ... he already botched her name the last time and here he is fondling her face, enough already! Glad I'm not the only one who thought he was creepy :)

Everyone is Hollywood is nipped/tucked and primped BIG TIME. Think about it, how many men in their 50s have a full head of thick hair? They all use weaves and color, etc.

I will say, John Travolta was looking horrible for a while - way too many fillers in his face. He looks better now that he backed off a bit.

The worst person IMO is Courtney Cox who claims that she tried Botox once and never again. Her face is so pumped up and it looks like someone took and iron to it. I"m all for a little bit of this and that but know when to say when!

Also, good lord - Pat Sajak wears the worst wig - as do most news reporters. Eek.
